INDY was Not built for NASCAR's

Kyle Busch WINS at INDY his 4th WIN of the season and 38th career NASCAR Sprint Cup WIN. Kyle lead 149 of 170 laps. 
It was a very boring race. After the first caution I stopped paying attention, I was just talking to my friends eating PIZZA. At lap 40 I started watching YouTube videos. The empty Grandstands don't LIE some people know how boring NASCAR at INDY is. The track was built for INDY Cars. I've been to the INDY500 once and will never go back. It's not the best track to watch a race live. NASCAR at INDY is not the best race to watch at home. Matt Kenseth finished 2nd, Jimmie Johnson finished 3rd, followed by Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson for the top five spots.
Maybe the race got better after I shut it off. Would be nice if it did, for the other NASCAR fans watching the race.

Paval Zacha / NJ Devils Sleeper

 

   Paval Zacha is a New Jersey Devils prospect now playing in the AHL with the Albany Devils. Zacha was selected sixth in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. On April 9th 2016, just three days after his 19th birthday Zacha played in his first NHL career game with the Devils and had 2 assists against the Toronto Maple Leafs. It was the only NHL game he played in this past season. Last season he played in the OHL for the Sarnia Sting and in 37 games scored 16 Goals and 18 Assists. 
   I know what your thinking. Why is StigsSports posting about this young Hockey Player ? Must be a slow Sports news day. No. The point is the New Jersey Devils will be a sleeper team this coming season and Paval Zacha should skip the AHL and center the third line for The New Jersey Devils. 

   2016-2017 Sleeper Team New Jersey Devils missed the playoffs four out of five seasons just resigned Kyle Palmieri who scored 30 Goals and 27 Assists. Also scoring 30 Goals last season was Adam Henrique. On track to score 30 Goals was Michael Cammalleri who missed the last 40 games of the season he had 14 Goals 24 Assists in 42 games. Patrick Elias the NJ Devils all time scoring leader missed over 60 games. If those two players don't get injured this season NJ will make the playoffs. New Jersey has INSURANCE, last week they signed Taylor Hall from the Edmonton Oilers he scored 26 Goals and had 39 Assists also signed last week on the Defense side Ben Lovejoy who just WON the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

  In Goal is All Star Goaltender Cory Schneider with help from Keith Kinkaid who played in 23 games last season and also Scott Wedgewood aka WedgeWall. The 23 year old played 4 games went 2-1-1 with a 1.24 Goals Against Average.

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most successful teams in NBA history, and have won 16 NBA Championships. The Lakers are the second most valuable franchise in the NBA according to FORBES Magazine. Last five of the 16 Championships 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010. The team name came from when they started in Minneapolis as the Minneapolis Lakers, they moved to LA in 1960. 21 Hall of Fame players have played for this team. Kobe Bryant will be the 22. 

The Los Angeles Clippers franchise was founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, moved to San Diego in 1978. In 1984 the Clippers moved to LA. The Clippers have never won a NBA Championship but have recently won two Division titles 2013 and 2014.

The Los Angeles KINGS was founded in 1966. Winners of Two Stanley Cup Championships. The first in 2012 and again in 2014. What put the KINGS on the map was On August 9, 1988 they acquired The National Hockey League's best player, Wayne Gretzky. This Trade SHOCKED the World of Hockey. Canadians were pissed. This move generated so much excitement for Hockey in Southern California the popularity of the Kings is credited with the arrival of another team in the area. The Anaheim Ducks, even San Jose, CA and Phoenix, AZ got Hockey Teams.

2016 Welcome Back to Los Angeles. The RAMS started in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams. After winning the 1945 NFL Championship Game, they moved that year to Los Angeles making way for the Cleveland Browns. After the 1994 NFL Season, the Rams moved to St. Louis, Missouri and won Superbowl 34 five year later. 
At the end of the 2015 Football season, the Rams, the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers all filled to relocate to Los Angeles. On January 12 2015 the NFL voted 30-2 to allow the RAMS to move back to LA. They had to pay a $550 Million dollar relocation fee.

The Chicago Cubs had their first losing week in a long time after going 1-6 in their last seven games. Chicago is still an incredible 48-26 on the season, and they still remain the best team in baseball despite the poor week.

The San Francisco had a excellent week; the Giants went 5-2 and they are 11-2 over their last 13 games. San Francisco is now 49-28 overall on the season, and they are creeping up on the Cubs. San Francisco's offense scored 42 runs in their seven games despite getting shutout in one of those games.

Texas Rangers remain one of the hottest teams in baseball after going 4-2 this past week. Texas is 24-8 over their last thirty-two games, and 49-27 overall on the season. Texas' offense had another solid week, and they've scored 72 total runs in their last 13 games.

The Orioles have won four games or more in each of the last four weeks; they went 5-2 this past week. Baltimore is 45-30 on the season, and their offense continues to be one of the best in baseball. The Orioles scored 48 total runs in their last seven games.

Washington dropped a few spots this week after going just 1-5 in their six games. Overall, the Nationals are 44-32 on the season. Washington's offense was quiet all week as they only scored 17 total runs in their six games. The Nationals have scored 3 runs or less in seven of their last eight games.

Germany and Italy are Europe's most successful soccer nations. Eight World Cups and four European Championships between them. Italy Will play Germany today in the Euro 2016 in the quarterfinal match. 

ITALY has Owned Germany With a record of 4-0-4 in the last 8 big soccer tournaments. Italy's chances of continuing its impressive streak are being undermined by a midfield crisis. Already without Claudio Marchisio, Marco Verratti and Riccardo Montolivo because of pre-tournament injuries, Italy coach Antonio Conte is without the suspended Thiago Motta and Antonio Candreva (groin), while Daniele De Rossi (thigh) is a doubt.

As for Germany, left back Jonas Hector has had a cold this week but is expected to be OK for Saturday. So that says it all. 

This could be Antonio Conte's last game in charge of Italy before he takes over as manager of Chelsea in the English Premier Soccer League.

Derrick Rose / New York KNICKS

   On June 22, 2016, The New York Knicks picked up Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls, along with Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round draft pick, to the Knicks in exchange for  Jose Calderon, Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez. 
   The Two time Champions but not in my lifetime KNICKS (1970 and 1973) went 32-50 last season and that is with Top Player Carmelo Anthony who averaged 21.8 points per game. Kristaps Poraingis next in line with 14.3 points per game. 
   Derrick Rose born in Chicago entered the 2008 draft went Number 1 to the Chicago Bulls and played eight seasons there. This past season he played in 66 games and averaged 16.4 Points Per Game. 17.7 last year in 51 games and only played 10 games the year before that. Derrick played 81 games in 2010-11. 
   This will be a good move for the 43 years ago champions if he doesn't get hurt.
