The San Francisco had a excellent week; the Giants went 5-2 and they are 11-2 over their last 13 games. San Francisco is now 49-28 overall on the season, and they are creeping up on the Cubs. San Francisco's offense scored 42 runs in their seven games despite getting shutout in one of those games.
Texas Rangers remain one of the hottest teams in baseball after going 4-2 this past week. Texas is 24-8 over their last thirty-two games, and 49-27 overall on the season. Texas' offense had another solid week, and they've scored 72 total runs in their last 13 games.
The Orioles have won four games or more in each of the last four weeks; they went 5-2 this past week. Baltimore is 45-30 on the season, and their offense continues to be one of the best in baseball. The Orioles scored 48 total runs in their last seven games.
Washington dropped a few spots this week after going just 1-5 in their six games. Overall, the Nationals are 44-32 on the season. Washington's offense was quiet all week as they only scored 17 total runs in their six games. The Nationals have scored 3 runs or less in seven of their last eight games.
