   On June 22, 2016, The New York Knicks picked up Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls, along with Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round draft pick, to the Knicks in exchange for  Jose Calderon, Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez. 
   The Two time Champions but not in my lifetime KNICKS (1970 and 1973) went 32-50 last season and that is with Top Player Carmelo Anthony who averaged 21.8 points per game. Kristaps Poraingis next in line with 14.3 points per game. 
   Derrick Rose born in Chicago entered the 2008 draft went Number 1 to the Chicago Bulls and played eight seasons there. This past season he played in 66 games and averaged 16.4 Points Per Game. 17.7 last year in 51 games and only played 10 games the year before that. Derrick played 81 games in 2010-11. 
   This will be a good move for the 43 years ago champions if he doesn't get hurt.

If Hockey can work in San Jose, California. It WILL work in Las Vegas, NV.

There is more people living in the Las Vegas Valley that moved here from MAJOR Hockey City's, like New York, Chicago, Boston, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Detroit. 

If you ever went to a Las Vegas Wranglers ECHL game you saw HOCKEY fans wearing NHL Hockey Jerseys for most teams in the arena.

The ECHL is Minor league Hockey. Two steps down from the NHL, but it's still professional Hockey. The Las Vegas Wranglers 2003-2014 played at The Orleans Arena that held 7,773. They Voluntarily suspended operations due to an inability to locate a new venue in a timely manner after losing their lease at the Orleans Arena. Makes sense, why would anyone have minor league Hockey when the NHL has been talking about coming to Las Vegas since 2008.

Before the Wranglers Las Vegas had a IHL (International Hockey League) team called the Las Vegas Thunder from 1993 - 1999. They played at the Thomas and Mack Center. 

Wanye Gretzky's brother Bret played for the Thunder along with Top NHL Players, Pavol Demitra, Alexei Yashin 2nd overall in the 1992 NHL Draft, Petr Nedved 2nd Overall in the 1990 NHL Draft.

GAME 7 the Battle for the KING

The NBA Finals will need GAME 7 to find out this years NBA CHAMPIONS. LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers scored 41 points in game six beating the Golden State Warriors 115-101. Cleveland is the first team in the NBA being down in the series 3-1 to force game Seven.

Game seven will be played Sunday in Oakland California home of The Golden State Warriors. The big story I see is Stephen Curry, who fouled out and was ejected in the fourth quarter of game six had 30 points. He said Fouls 5 and 6 were not fouls. 

I say the KING Title is on the Line.

Sharks Keep Season Alive

San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones kept the season alive stopping 44 of the Penguins 46 shots. San Jose won Game 5 by the score of 4-2, cutting their series deficit to 3-2 and forcing a Game 6 at SAP Center's SHARK TANK in San Jose on Sunday. 
The Sharks had not played with the lead in the first four games. Their lone victory had come in overtime. They took a quick 2-0 lead only to give it up again when the Penguins scored twice in a 22-second span. Sharks center Melker Karlsson scored the Game Winning Goal giving the Sharks a 3-2 lead. The fourth goal doesn't matter at that point, the WIN does.

Golden State WINS the GOLD in game 1

The 2014 Defending NBA Champions, The Golden State Warriors WIN Game 1 of the NBA Championship. This is a rematch of last years Finals Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors. The Warriors lead by 9 at the half. The Golden State bench went on a 21-4 run. When the clock showed ZEROS at the end of the game Golden State 104 and Cleveland 89.

Penguins vs Sharks

Pittsburgh Penguins and the San Jose Sharks take game two into Overtime. But the Penguins WIN 2-1 taking the series lead 2-0. Game 3 will be Saturday in San Jose's SHARK TANK. A news story heading into this game 2 for the Penguins was Bryan Rust. Rust took a headshot in game 1 and left the game as a result of it. Rust

 did play in game two, and had over 11 minutes of Ice Time.  

Conor Sheary had The Game Winning Goal 2:35 in to Overtime. The 23 year old rookie who

 only played in 44 regular season games now has 2 Goals in the Stanley Cup Finals.
